International Exchange Awards

 5月8日（月曜日）、総務省にて、第11回自治体国際交流表彰式が行われました。大和高田・リズモー都市友好協会と大和高田市は、1963年から続く姉妹都市交流の取り組みが高く評価され、自治体国際交流表彰（総務大臣賞）を受賞しました。
授賞式には、脇本吉清 大和高田・リズモー都市友好協会会長と、吉田誠克 大和高田市長が出席しました。

On May 8th (Monday) the 11th International Exchange Award Ceremony was held by the Council of Local Authorities for International Relations in the Ministry of Internal Affairs and Communications. As Yamato Takada City and the Yamato Takada・Lismore Sister City Association have been working on the various exchanges between the two cities since 1963 and the continual efforts so far had been highly evaluated, the International Exchange Awards have come to be given to them.
Mr. Masakatsu Yoshida, mayor, and Mr. Yoshikiyo Wakimoto, president of the association, were willing to attend the award ceremony in Tokyo.
