リズモー市災害募金について
About donation toward the Lismore City's flood

 3月31日（金曜日）に、大型のサイクロンがオーストラリアに上陸し、強風と豪雨で各地に甚大な被害が出ました。リズモー市は、最も被害が大きかった地域でした。市内各地で洪水となり、水深が3メートル以上に達したところもありました。
 リズモー市は、「1974年のウィルソン川の決壊による水害以来の出来事である」と発表し、アイザック・スミス市長は、インターネットなどを通じて、募金を呼びかけました。
 このことを受け、当協会としては、4月30日（日曜日）に行われた「おかげ祭り」の中で、募金箱を設置し、募金を募りました。
 ご協力いただいた皆様、誠にありがとうございました。
 集まった金額につきましては、大和高田市で行っている募金と合わせて後日、公開いたします。

 On Friday, March 31,a huge cyclone landed Australia, and it caused a strong wind and heavy rain and brought serious damage. Lismore was one of the areas had the most damage. The city was flooded , and the depth of water reached 3 meters in some area.
lismore City announced this flood disaster was the worst one since the banks of Wilson River collapsed by the flood , and the mayor Isaac Smith asked for donation through the Internet.
Our Association started to ask for donation towards the city's flood appeal and placed a donation box at Okage Festival in April 30,Sunday.

Later on, we will announce the amount of money raised by donations along with another fund-raising activity in Yamato Takada.
