【2023年9月27日】 リズモー市学生が市長を表敬訪問しました

4年ぶりにリズモー市から派遣された学生5名と引率者1名が、大和高田市役所を訪問し、堀内市長を表敬訪問しました。
今回の学生たちは日本語も勉強しており、日本で友達をつくったりして交流を深めて楽しんでいきたいと話していました。
学生たちは、市内の幼稚園、小・中学校、高校を訪問するなど、教育的交流をはじめとして、市内の施設等も訪問しながら文化的交流も行っていただく予定で10月8日まで滞在します。

The 5 students and a chaperone who were elected to represent Lismore for the first time in 4 years had visited to the Yamato Takada City Hall and paid a courtesy visit to Mayor Horiuchi.

All of the students, including the chaperone, are studying Japanese in Australia and are looking forward to making new friends to deepen the engagement between them, they say.

They will be staying with local families until October 8th and will have an educational and a cultural exchange by visiting a preschool, some schools and the municipal facilities in our city.
